About Craig Martin

Craig Martin, JD has over 20 years of experience in public service for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, Shelby County Prosecutors Office, Hancock County Prosecutors Office, and as a Criminal Defense Attorney.
Craig has since built a broad client base after years of specializing in Estate Planning, Medicaid, Probate, and other complicated Elder Law issues. Craig quickly became an expert in protecting assets for long-term care, emergency planning, and guiding families through the complicated Medicaid process, Estate Planning, Elder Law, Guardianships, and Probate.
Craig is also active in professional and community organizations. He has previously served as the Vice President of the Hancock County Bar Association for 2021-2022 and has recently been elected as the President of the Hancock County Bar Association for 2022-2023 and remains an active member. He currently volunteers at Harris Elementary School helping 3rd grade students improve their reading skills.
Born and raised on a family farm just north of Greenfield, Indiana, Craig attended Greenfield Central School Corporation before heading to Vincennes University and Indiana State University for his Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees. After college, Craig completed his law degree at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
Craig currently lives in Greenfield, Indiana with his wife and children. He enjoys reading about history, geo-political and financial news, travelling, exercising, National Football League, seeing historical sites and experiencing good food.
