Craig L. Martin, JD

Craig has over 20 years of experience in public service for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department, Shelby County Prosecutors Office, Hancock County Prosecutors Office and as a Criminal Defense Attorney.

Craig has since spent the last 8 years building a broad client base specializing in Estate Planning, Medicaid, Probate, and other complicated Elder Law issues. Craig quickly became an expert in protecting assets for long-term care, emergency Medicaid planning, and guiding families through the complicated Medicaid process, which also includes Estate Planning, Elder Law, Guardianships, and Probate.

Jennifer Baker

Office Manager & Paralegal

Jennifer Baker is a lifelong Indiana resident. Jennifer and her husband have two sons. She has over 25 years of administrative experience. Prior to 2011, Jennifer worked with top producing real estate agents for over 15 years ensuring that their offices ran smoothly, and their customers received the highest, and most professional experience when buying and selling homes. She led customers from listing to closing, coordinating the details of the buying and selling process with inspection companies, title companies and mortgage companies.

In January 2011, Jennifer welcomed the opportunity to begin a career in the field of law. She has worked as a paralegal since that time. Over the years, she assisted in many areas of law such as personal injury litigation, appeals, and vaccine injury compensation. She is most drawn to matters concerning estate planning, probate, and guardianships. Assisting families to ensure that their final wishes are in place and are being followed, is important to her.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and doing puzzles.

Shauna Duke

Paralegal

Shauna Duke is a lifelong Hoosier with more than twenty years of experience in the legal industry, primarily serving as a paralegal and in leadership and management roles. She joined Martin Law Firm in 2026, bringing extensive experience in estate planning, probate administration, guardianships, real estate, and small business LLC matters.

In her role at the firm, Shauna serves as the welcoming face and voice of the office while also working as paralegal to Craig Martin. She will primarily assist clients with estate planning matters, ensuring each client receives professional, efficient, and detail-oriented service.

Outside of work, Shauna enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, volunteering, and spending time with her large family and friends.

Stephanie George

Part-Time Paralegal

Stephanie George is a dedicated and detail oriented paralegal with over 14 years of experience in the legal field. She specializes in estate planning, deeds, the documentation of wills and trusts, and small business creation. Her empathetic approach and attention to detail have helped countless families plan for their future. She is known for her exceptional research skills, knowledge of legal terminology and interpersonal skills. She is passionate about ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of legal support. Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Bloomington and earned her Associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Ivy Tech Community College. Prior to her role as a paralegal, she worked in the municipal field specializing in zoning laws and ordinances. Stephanie is married with two daughters and two dogs. In her free time, she loves to read, shop at Target, and be near a beach.

Ipek Martin

Business Development and
Operational Excellence Manager

Ipek is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience. Her diverse background in several sectors and international organizations makes her uniquely suited for her role as a business development and operational excellence manager for Martin Law Firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Masters in History, and Business Management Graduate Certificate from IU Kelley School of Business. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt and Lean Expert with a deep passion for client-centric quality improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Her career began as a business and diplomatic correspondent, which laid a foundation for her subsequent roles as Chief Economist and Project Manager for the UK Foreign Office. She later transitioned to become an Operational Effectiveness Project Manager at the Indiana University School of Medicine demonstrating a consistent drive for effectiveness and efficiency in the management of business and administrative operations in the organization. Throughout her career, she has led and executed hundreds of projects in business, finance, and process improvement, while also conducting research and advanced data analysis. At Martin Law Firm, Ipek is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement to ensure the firm operates at its best for its valued clients. In addition to her expertise in business and operations, she is a Precision Nutrition certified Nutrition Coach and a former WeightWatchers coach. Her diverse interests encompass a love for all animals, a passion for travel, reading about history and science, and a unique appreciation for Mediterranean culture and cuisine.
